Daffodil Appeal

It was great to catch up with staff from Marie Curie Cancer Care and hear about their various campaigns and unstinting work in communities all over the country. I got to hear first hand how the money they raise helps people with terminal illnesses right here in Renfrewshire. Last year Marie Curie was able to provide care to more than 7,400 people living with a terminal illness in Scotland. I know many of my constituents have had a positive experience thanks to help from Marie Curie and I was happy to pledge my support for their Great Daffodil Appeal.  You can do the same by making a donation any time this month in return for a daffodil pin you can wear throughout March.  The money raised will help nurses provide more free care to local people in their own homes and also in the two Marie Curie Hospices in Glasgow and Edinburgh. If you want to get involved or know more about the support and care on offer call 0845 601 3107 or visit www.mariecurie.org.uk/daffodil.
