Looking good

Out in Johnstone recently and everyone I spoke to was singing the praises of the new Town Hall so it was no surprise when I learned the state of the art development had won an award before it had even opened! It’s given the town and local businesses a boost.  Come Monday, March 23 the new library, customer services centre, housing office and Advice Works will be in full swing. There’s a feel good factor in the town and with changes underway in Spateston too, where almost half a million pounds has been invested in revamping and moving the pharmacy and remaining shops into new units. Renfrewshire Council has listened and delivered to residents and local Councillor Iain McMillan who has campaigned hard on the issue.
