It was great to read in the local press how a
team from Menzies Distribution Centre which is just a few metres from my office
is tackling the 96 gruelling miles of the West Highland Way to raise funds for
the British Heart Foundation. Three of the team who are joining branch manager
Grant Keogh are from my constituency and I wish them well. James Drennan from
Johnstone, Donna Monaghan and Ann Rowley from Linwood as well as Ben Muir from
Greenock are raising funds in memory of two of their colleagues who sadly died
from a heart attack in the last 16 months and also for another two who have
suffered strokes and had to give up work. They are hoping to raise £3,000 and I
